Learn from this book about going green and saving money.


Following up to the last blog posting, why will people go green? Why will they not go green? Here are my thoughts:

Why Will People Go Green?

1. People may go green because of their conscience. If they know how they are impacting their world, they may want to help.
2. People will go green because of what they see on the news. The more they hear about the world, the more they understand.
3. People may choose to go green if they will save money.
4. People may go green if it is safer. For example, think photo voltaic versus nuclear power.
5. People may go green if it is healthier. Think a food with four natural ingredients versus one with 25 mostly man made ingredients.

Why Will People Not Go Green?

1. They don't care.
2. They don't have to go green.
3. They are not aware why they should go green.
4. They deny scientific evidence, or are just in denial about needing to do anything now.
5. They listen to news, but hear only news they want to hear.
